Review: Lancôme Hypnôse Mascara

The nail polish on my nails is Pink Whisper from Orly

The Hypnôse Mascara from Lancôme is a volumizing mascara and I can definitely see a volumizing effect on my lashes. It isn't exactly a false lash effect but the result is very good and I think this is perfect as an everyday mascara.

The mascara is very easy to apply and the result is almost perfect with no need to comb trough the lashes with an eyelash comb.

You can easily wear this mascara all day and it will stay put. I rarely saw any smudging and mascara flakes under the eyes and I wore it from early morning into late night.

The main negative with this mascara is the prize. Lancôme is a high end brand and their products aren't cheap. The price for the Hypnôse mascara is around 300 SEK.

Overall grade: This is a very good mascara that gives a very nice result on the lashes but it will cost you. I doubt that I will buy this again since there are far cheaper mascaras on the market that will give you a similar result.

I paid for this product myself and this is my own opinion, I am not affiliated with Lancôme in any way.

Is it summer yet?

The sun is shining here today and it isn't freezing outside. There is still some snow left on the ground but I can definitely feel that Spring is around the corner and I have started to feel inspired. I can't wait for summer and the warmth and sun so I decided to base my eye makeup on the colors that I like to wear in the summer, teal, peach or bronze shades.

I went for a very simple look with a teal eyeliner and peach shades on the lid. To make it more fun I tried a turquoise mascara from Make Up Store that I have had for sometime but never got around to wearing.

This mascara is bright turquoise but I wasn't very impressed with it. It didn't do much to my lashes except for giving them some color. I probably would have liked it more if it had some lengthening properties.

For this eye makeup I used the following products:

Isadora Waterproof Cream Eyeshadow in 61 Pink Apricot as a base on the lid.
MAC eyeshadow in Gleam on the lid.
MAC eyeshadow in Soft Brown in the crease blended up towards the brow bone.
MAC eyeshadow in Brulé as a highlight on the brow bone.
Isadora Perfect Contour Kajal in 58 Peacock Blue as a liner.
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Pencil in Yeyo as a inner corner highlight.
Make Up Store Colored Mascara in Turqoise on the upper lashes.
Lancôme Hypnôse Mascara on the lower lashes.

Isadora Eye Brow Lift & Define to fill in the brows.

A small LUSH haul.

I am back (again) and this time with a small haul from LUSH.

I have recently starting to have some pain in my neck and shoulder area. I don't know why but my muscles in this area have been quite sore and I have been trying different things to make this go away.

I read that LUSH has massage bars that are supposed to be good for tired and sore muscles and decided to give them a try.

I picked up two massage bars and received a tin container for free:

The first one was Wiccy Magic Muscles: This is the oval shaped one in the picture. This has a very spicy scent of cinnamon and peppermint and it is supposed to heat up the area that you have massaged this in to.

The other one is the Hottie Massage Bar: This contains black pepper and ginger oils that is supposed to warm up the skin. This doesn't contain beans like the first one but instead it has big lumps on one side that I think will bee good for the massage.

I picked up one more item a bath melt called Cerudwyn's Cauldrun. I have been curious about this one for some time now and decided to try it.

This bath melt is wrapped in muslin cloth, and I like this idea of using a cloth to keep all the stuff that LUSH like to add to their bath products contained. I normally don't like it when the tub is filled with all kinds of different things that you then have to clean up.

The scent of this one is a little herbal but I think it smells really nice.
