I went to see Avatar 3D yesterday and on my way to the cinema I stopped at the MAC counter. My main goal as usual was to check out the new MAC collection. This times it was All Races, All Ages, All Sexes. I wasn't really impressed with this one. I felt that it reminded me to much of Warm & Cozy in it's color scheme and I definitely don't need more brown eyeshadows in my collection at the moment.
But I did pick up two things from the collection, the eyeshadow Banshee and the lipstick Equality.
MAC describes Banshee as a "dirty taupe with frost and sparkle diamond cluster" and it has a Lustre finish so it is packed with silver sparkle. I like the color of this one, it is a brownish pink with an overload of sparkle. I think Banshee will look great on the lid with a darker matte brown in the crease or as a inner corner highlight. I think this eyeshadow is very versatile and I would descibe it as a extravagant neutral. Because of all the glitter in the eyeshadow there is a major risk for glitter fall out.
Equality is also a Lustre and MAC descibes this as a "creamy pale yellow beige". It is rather pale and I will use this to tone down the pigmentation of my lips and wear a lipgloss on top or use it to tone down a brighter lipstick.
I will post a "on my lips" post right after this post so you can see how Equality looks on the lips. It makes my lips super pale.
I bought the products with my own money and it is my own opinion.
