I decided to try and do a black smokey eye or as I like to call it a smokey eye "Kung Fu Panda" Style. For this EOTD I used the fascinating Ruby: 6 Smokey Eyes from MAC holiday collection in 2008. The shadows that I used are Ambiance and Carbon, however Carbon can be found in the permanent line and Ambiance can easily be replaced by a silver gray eyeshadow.

Almost everything is from MAC if not stated otherwise:
Urban Decay Primer Potion as a base.
Carbon (matte) e/s on entire lid up to crease but leave the inner corner free.
Ambiance (velvet) e/s as a transition color up to the brow bone. This is a silver gray color with large silver flecks in it.
Grand Entrance (starflash) in the inner corner of the eye.
Brulé (satin) as a brow bone highlight.
Kohl Power Eye Pencil in Feline on lower lashline and waterline. I also used this in the inner corner of the eye.
MUS Cake Eyeliner in Black on upper lashline.
Maybelline Pulse Perfection Vibrating Mascara
Makeup Factory Eye Brow Styler 3
